To move the sun

To move the sun seeks a feeling of amazement in the transformation of the everyday landscape through an inner exploration. The physical impossibility that becomes feasible through an alternative gaze.

The images in this work are of an oneiric character. By the manipulation of the photographs, the portrayed elements change their appearance and meaning to become enigmatic beings that challenge our conventional understanding of them.

This project, whose photographs have been taken in and around Madrid, aims to be a reflective exercise of our appreciation of the surrounding natural environment. I seek that the unusual appearance of the transformed landscape immerse the viewer in the feelings of wonder that happen in the places that we collectively consider sublime.
